I have had unprotected sex in this period of time. It's always possible to be pregnant if you are sexually active, but depo-provera is one of the most effective forms of birth control. As you know, it often prevents you from having a period. This is not dangerous, because the medication (progesterone) causes the uterine lining to become very thin. There is simply not enough tissue to lead to a period. Also, depo-provera does not protect against most sexually transmitted infections, so it's best to have your partner wear a condom. Ectopic pregnancies don't really run in families, but if there is any possibility that you could be pregnant, the best bet is to use a home pregnancy test to make sure. Best wishes,
