RULES FOR POSTING TO THE WOMEN'S HEALTH FORUM

The Forum on Women's Health at OBGYN.net is for each of you to use as often as you wish to ask health questions of the medical professionals And to exchange thoughts and ideas with each other about health subjects of interest to women of all ages.

The medical professionals volunteer their time to participate in the WHF and we can not thank them enough. If we follow these simple rules we will make their life easier and insure their continued support.

No Private Emails To Professionals for any reason at any time. If this rule is not followed sender will be reminded one time and repeat posting to the doctors will result in loss of posting privileges.

All Questions and Answers to the Forum should be presented in a medical, supportive, and/or personal life experience format. If you wish to thank a doctor post your message back to the Women's Health Forum.

The Women's Health Forum is not the place for JOKES. Humorous or funny personal anecdotes relevant to the topic of the post are not JOKES and are fine, but canned jokes DO NOT belong on the Women's Health Forum. Please remember, what is funny to one person might be offensive to another.

Medical Professionals answer questions of their choice on an "as time allows" basis. We cannot expect medical professionals to answer any, or all personal postings. The professionals are Donating their time and knowledge to us and providing us with a service from the goodness of their hearts.

Please do not use the words Help, Worried, Urgent, ect. in Subject Line. Each post is important to each of the senders and those words only encourage EVERY post to begin with Urgent, thus defeating the purpose of trying to get an answer. A far more effective method is to state the clinical nature of your post in the subject heading. This will be more likely to result in answers from specialists in your condition.

Please remember, this forum IS NOT A Debating Forum; so therefore we must insist that people with a strong difference of opinion do not slam, flame, bait, insinuate, or "name/names" in postings. We are all entitled to our own and different opinions. This forum is not a place for Debate on treatments, personal lifestyle decisions, or moral or religious judgements.

Sharing information about products or services is encouraged. Commercial mass sales and marketing posts are not acceptable.

PLEASE do not ask more than two questions in any post.

PLEASE search the archives for your answer first before asking a question.
