Different possibiities depending upon the location of the endometriosis and the adhesions involved.

The mechanism hasn't been elucidated but what you describe above doesn't make sense from an anatomic point of view.

Painful intercourse as you describe can be from a multitude of reasns. Sorry I can't be more specific but there are too many possibilities to review.
