Rose,
I also had similar problems as you and had the uterus removed through
laprascopic vaginal surgery. I would seriously question a doctor who
says you HAVE to have an abdominal incision these days! It can create
alot more problems (adhesions being #1).
So when you go for the 2nd opinion, ask about LAVH removal instead of
TAH.
Also if you're not having symptoms, you might want to re-consider having
surgery at all.
