birth control

I am wondering what my options might be for birth control.

I have a severe allergic reaction to latex and in the past have developed hives using the different spermicides that are available here with a diaphragm and with condoms. I also became pregant with my daughter using the diaphragm with spermicide. When I was about 19-20, (I am 32 now), I was on the Pill, but couldn't tolerate the nausea and vomiting it caused.

I have one child (11 years) and have had 8 miscarriages (in the last 7 years) and I would still like to have another child someday. I was TTC until earlier this year when my marriage ended after several years of IF. The doctors have no explanation for the miscarriages and called them "faulty implantation". Two of these preganancies were achieved through IVF and 6 were "natural". I do not smoke and am in good health other than the issue of repeated miscarriages. My HSG was clear but my tubes are "short". I know I ovulate each month because I take BBT and monitor CM and CP.

I need some guidance in selecting something that will be effective and that will not cause the severe side effects that I have experienced in the past.

I appreciate your help.

J.
