Re: amniocentisis resulted in pocket of fluid between inner and outter wall of amniotic sac desperately seeking feedback!!!From: molly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 27 Nov 1999 14:30:41 -0600 (CST)
What can you tell me about the pocket of fluid and the two walls. Because my doctor told me they are not sure if bed rest makes any difference in getting the pocket to close but 3 days after the leakage started, ( the afternoon he told me I could get up) I put myself on bed rest. As long as I lie still I keep the leakage to a minimum. How long do pockets usually take to heal and is there any way to tell where the leakage is coming from. I also feel slight tenderness on the left side where I think the pocket is. He told me the pocket shouldn't feel tender, but to every question he says I don't know. Should I be seeking a second opinion. By the way, I put myself on bedrest-not him. I am also taking amoixicillan.
