Hi. I also have GBS. From talking my doctor's office in the past, the strep won't pass to the baby while you are pregnant. The risk for the baby to get strep is only (to my knowledge) during a vag birth or perhaps after the water breaks. That is the reason for you getting the IV antibiotics while in labor. I think it is something to be concerned about, but not alarmed so long as you receive the antibiotics. Good luck!
