To be diagnosed, most people have recurrent mouth ulcers plus sometimes genital ulcers, eye, joint, skin inflammaiton. Sometimes the GI tract is involved (besides the mouth) and resembles crohn's. There is no cure, only treatment of the symptoms. Sometimes immunosuppressive drugs are used. It usually isn't life threatening but can cause a lot of problems. 15,000 people in the U.S. have this condition, but I believe there are a lot more undiagnosed.
