Re: Please, is anyone awake? Threatened M/C??????

I did call and they still wouldn't give me an appointment, but I did go in for bloodwork. They drew for Progesterone and Quantitative HCG. I should hear back tomorrow. I had only a tiny red/pink spot this morning. This afternoon I had a few bad pelvic pains and another hot flash. Don't know my temp then but I guess between 100.5-101. Felt "wet" after that but couldn't place what from. It's a different wet than I'm used to. A few hours later when I checked my temp I felt a little cooler and it was 100.5. Besides that, I've hardly noticed my breasts today. It's been decreasing the past 2-3 days, I swear. I'm sure that all will be fine, or that's what I am telling myself. I can't wait to hear the verdict on the blood tests. I think I'd feel better mentally though if I had been granted a physical check with the doctor and/or ultrasound. I'm off of work tonight so I'm sure that after surprising everybody with the news all at once that I'm preg AND this, I am probably hot gossip.

I asked the nurse from my old ob/gyn office about the Cipro as soon as I found out about the pregnancy and she said it was fine. I am still hesitant.

Thanks, Dr. M. (and others!), I wish that I could find more doctors like you.
