Hi, Gina !

Cul de sac is a pouch between uterus and rectum/large bowel. The fluid accumulated in this area usually comes from the ruptured ovary cyst. The rupture of your ovary cyst is the more likely explanation for your monthly left side back pain. Yup, you'd better see your gyn to work this out.
