Adriane, Ask your doctor what kind of cyst she thinks it is. If it's an endometrioma, it probably won't go away, but continue to grow as the endometrial tissue bleeds with each cycle and fills the cyst. I don't think you want to stay on Vicodin long term - isn't it a narcotic type pain reliever? BTW I had my right ovary removed during my TAH 6 weeks ago because of an endometrioma that kept getting bigger. It was approx 6 cm when it was removed.
