HSG vs hysterosonography for uterine septum

Recently I was diagnosed with a uterine septum following transvaginal ultrasound. I am scheduled to undergo hysterosalpingography, but have read about another diagnostic procedure, transvaginal saline hysterosonography. Apparently this latter approach allows for determination both of length and width of the septum. Has anyone any information regarding the specificity or sensitivity of this approach? Has anyone any information about the preference of one procedure over the other?

thanks for the help!
