Endometriosis: Will I be able to conceive

I am 27 years old and was diagnosed with endometriosis almost 2 years ago, they also discovered that I have a retroverted womb and that my ovaries are in the 'pouch of douglas' but still intact. I also have an addesion on the back wall of my uterus. My doctor recommended that I take the contraceptive pill Diannette which leaves me almost pain free and with very few side affects. However, I would like to know if I am doing any further damage by staying on this pill or is it allowing my addesions to heal or what? I cannont contemplate a family within the next few years, but what are my chances of having a family in the future and is there anything I can do meantime to strengthen such a chance?

Please help
