Colon problems v. possible endo.

I am 28, had an exploratory surgery in 1995 to repair a perforated ulcer and have experienced pelvic and lower abdonimal pain ever since. I have chronic constipation, back pain, painful ovulation, excessive bloating and heavy periods, although I'm on the pill. I have a question--which way should I look: colon or possible endo? I have consulted my doctor and because of my prior surgery and risk for adhesions and scar tissue, I have an appointment scheduled with a colon specialist. After reading articles and misc. information on endometriosis, I wonder if that may be a possibility. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
