McIntosh, MD: "Re: Birth Control after Partial Molar Pregnancy" My Dr has told me to start taking my birth control pills this sunday. I had a D&C done 8/6 and have not had a period since. Is it wise to start the pills before I have a period? I would think it would be better for your body to have at least one normal cyle (after being pregnant for 9 weeks and then having a D&C due to a partial molar) before you start putting hormones ect into your system.
