I also had a very difficult delivery, for different reasons than yours, but none the less things didn't go as I had wanted. I ended up with a section after 10 hours of labor and pushing for 2 hours. Finally the nurses and my Dr. realized my daughter was just too big to come out and they rushed us for the section. She was 10lbs!! I then spent several hours in recovery with low grade temp so I couldn't see her right away. The only advice I can give you is what my Dr. told me "expect the unexpected." Change doctors, change hospitals, do whatever you need to in order to feel comfortable the next time you deliver and just be thankful for the wonderful little person you have with you now.
