Soreness Due to Friction During SexFrom: Andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 6 Aug 1999 07:53:43 -0500 (CDT)
For the past few months everytime my boyfriend and I have sex I always have a soreness on the left side of my vaginal opening. I thought there was some kind of sore there too, but after going to the doctor and having tests done, he said that it is trauma due to the friction from having sex. And there is nothing that you can do for it but just let it go away on its own. Well I do let it go away but the next time I have intercourse it immediately is back. I don't understand why this is happening because I have been with this person for a few years now and we have always used a lubricant so why is this just happening now when everything was fine before. Please give me some advice as to what I can do to make this go away or what I can do to prevent it from happening. Thanks
