Our son was born 2 months premature after a very difficult pregnancy. He was an IUGR baby with a birth weight of 3 lbs. He was diagnosed with neonatal thrombocytopenia and spent 20 days in the NICU unit. At 8 months he was diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy. Blood work on myself revealed an abnormality called PLA Antigen. Our son is now 3 and we would like to try for another child. We have seen a high risk OB/GYN Dr. but would like further information on this condition if possible. I have been unable to locate anything on the internet. My husband and I would like to research this condition fully before we even think of trying to concieve anther child. Any reply or answers would be appreciated.
