Thanks Audrey Ablation is not the answer since it will not fix the prolapse, and is likely to fail to control the bleeding as well since you have multiple fibroids. Embolization may, or may not, shrink the fibroids for some unknown length of time, and this may control your bleeding, unless your bleeding is in part or in whole due to approaching menopause. It will do nothing for your prolapse. Hysterectomy will correct your prolapse, and you will never bleed again, but at the cost of a major surgery, and a longer recovery time. Now that you know what to expect from each proceedure in general, apply this knowledge to your own situation, and make the choice that best fits what you want to accomplish, and what costs you are willing to support (I am not talking about money here, but rather time, risks and so on).
