I am dealing with the same problem, only it's been 5yrs since my hysterectomy. I was told not to "worry" that it would look "fine" with time. Well, not only is it extremly ugly, I have this flap of skin that hangs over the scar. The Dr said "I put everything back where it belongs". I was so upset I tried to get a referral for reconstructive surgery, but was denied because it was considered cosmetic. Wait, if I had a Mystectomy instead of a Hysterectomy that wouldn't be considered Cosmetic? Where is the Logic?

Still looking for an Answer
