I would like to find out if it is common for women to injure their tailbones during childbirth. If it is common, how common is it to get the tailbone removed? What if there were no x-rays, etc. to detect if there was actual damage, but was removed anyway. I am very interested in this subject. I would appreciate it if someone could answer these questions. Thanks so much.
