adenomyosis and danazolFrom: val (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Jun 1999 09:21:02 -0500 (CDT)
I posted here a while back because of my daughter's pelvic pain after orgasm. On the strength of an ultrasound, adenomyosis has been the diagnosis. She is 33, has had 2 children and an infection after the second pregnancy. The medication prescribed is danazol. I am concerned because an internet search seems to say that danazol is not used for this condition, and since she seems healthy, she has not had blood work done to check that she has no contra-indications. I would appreciate any advice you could give in this matter.
