This was discovered during a routine physical and confirmed by ultrasound. I've had no pain, but for about a year my periods have been abnormal--for me--lots of clots, heavier flow, sometimes every 2 weeks sometimes not for 5 or 6 weeks. Lately, I've been spotting for several days mid-cycle. I'm 47 and figured this was all age related! I've had 3 kids and breastfed them all. What bothers me is the automatic response from my Dr. to have a hysterectomy ASAP. Should I be worried as to the possibility of what they'll find? I get the results of a CA 125 tomorrow when I go in for the uterine biopsy. Help--I'm drowning in info from all the reading I've done in the last few days, but I'm no closer to knowing what's going on in my body for sure! Thanks!
