confused and desperateFrom: Yue (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 26 Jun 1999 17:51:22 -0700
Hello, I am 20 years old and have been suffering from a confusing matter. almost 2 years ago i had 2 urinary infections a month apart. The doctor thought it might be due to allergic and irritated by condoms. Then after that, intercourse have been painful and also every few months i would feel like a urinary infection is coming on with the feeling of pressure on the bladder and the urge to urinate frequently. But usually it goes away in a few days. Recently I still find pain in the vulva near the opening of the vagina whenever pressure is applied and also the urge to urinate frequently and the awful pressure on the bladder is constant. The symptoms may go away a few days and come back or be worse sometime during the day or night. It just varies and i have seen 3 gynecologists already and have tried douche, vaginal cream and one even thought it might be Vulvadynia so i am currently taking calcium citrate and nothing has improved. I am so depressed and frustrated. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on and why does it go away and come back? thanks for your time. Tammy
