Hi I have a question about this shot. I've heard alot of bad things about it. My doctor wants to try this shot to help with abnormal periods. I've already have tried a D&C, provera, and depo-Provera and nothing has worked so far matter of fact the D&C just made matters worse for me. We had to stop the depo-provera because I have asthma and It was affecting that plus the depo made my period last so far 6 weeks and still going strong. I'm just wondering if this shot is going to make my problems worse or not. Any info would be great I'm only 23 and would like to get my periods under control my problem is not only do I bleed heavy but my periods last 2 weeks. I do take iron. My doctor also has me taking daypro to try and help slow down the bleeding but I haven't seen a change lately. Thank you for your help in advanced, Anne
