wanting to have a baby, have had lots of trouble, need advice..............From: Alisha (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 15 Jun 1999 21:02:15 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, my husband and I having been trying for a long time to have a baby. First of all I've always been irregular with my periods the only time that they were actually regular was why I was on the pill. I went off my pills in Dec 93. Had no period Jan-Mar so in April 93 I went to ob/gyn found out I was 7weeks pregnant. Everything seemed fine, up until I was around 16 weeks, my doctor found fluid had gathered around my babys abdomain and neck. So I went to another specialist and had an AMO.Test done which told that my baby had Turner's Syndrome. Carried her till I was 20 weeks and she died. I was beside myself with sorrow. So more than ever I wanted to get pregnant without using any birth control we went up until Sept 96 and I finally found out I was pregnant again. Only to learn just in time that it in fact was a Tubal Pregnancy. Had emergency surgery luckily the DR only had to make a small slit on my right tube. Once again I came out very lucky but still with no child. I have been on an emotional roller-coaster since all of this began sometimes I feel like giving up. My Doctor said that I was not ovulating regular. And have a small case of endometriosis. Have tried Provera followed by Clomid off and on since Nov 96. Not every month but a few here and there. Then I'll quit because nothing happens I get very emtional, then I'll get my nerve up to try something esle. It's June99 and still no baby, can anyone help me????
