Sexual disfunctionFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 14 Jun 1999 15:24:27 -0500
In 1996, I had a total hysto (fibroids and endometriosis) and bladder surgery combined (fallen bladder). My problem is that I have totally no sexual desire nor do I have the feeling of being excited (the fullness is the best I can describe it). Why is this the case? Before the surgery and even with all the probelms before surgery, I had a good sex life. Now I have none whatsoever. I have went to several doctors and they have either put me on anti-depressants and/or have tried different doses of hormones ( estrace, premarian, estratest, one tablet, two tablets and so forth). I even thought it was in my head, but the therapist is telling me to see someone who specializes in this area - but who? I live in Dallas, Texas and I am not sure who to contact either. Help, I am desparate.
