Chronic burning after birth

I delivered back in Dec and within 2 weeks noticed slight burning...which was assumed to be UTI..and I was treated with antibiotics. No help. Treated once more..a little relief for a few days. More burning. Have seen many docs over the last 5 months and was even treated for an atypical yeast infection and atrophic vaginitis (seen from swab sample) and the vaginal creams helped 90% for a few days. Have had 8 urinalysis done...all negative for infection. Here I am 6 months later with chronic severe burning in the pelvic region which has spread to inner thighs (which seem puffy to me and my husband) and lower buttocks. If I press on the tailbone area now or lay on my back..it burns, too. My thighs hurt so much my legs shake when I walk. The vulvar area looks red to me and seems to get more irritated when the vaginal discharge spreads to cover the skin. I have seen a vulvar dermatologist, who after treating me for the yeast and vaginitis, now insists the area looks fine...but I don't think it does. I've looked in the mirror more than he's looked!! I have some urinary discomfort sometimes but not horrid burning or urgency. I tried Elavil for pain but developed a weird burning skin rash on my face..that still hasn't gone away. I am absolutely desperate for help...I live with agonizing pain everyday which has caused depression and anxiety, and now will see a counselor for emotional help. I cry every day and pray that someone will have a clue for me to obtain pain relief. Please help. Thank you.
