I do not smoke or drink.I have a swollen areola gland right next to my nipple. I have called my doctor and her nurse suggested I put hot compresses on it and take 800 mgs.of vitamin E. She also suggested I quit all caffine drinks. Still concerned because it has swollen futher, I called my doctor again and will see her today. My question is, is this a common occurance?
