fibrocystic breast disease X 17 years

When I was 10 I was taken to the Dr. for lumps in each breast. My Dr. was from the old world of medicine. Nothing was done because he said it would go away that it was just inflammed breast tissue. Now I'm 27 and both of my breasts are almost entirely formed of this fibrocycstic stuff. It seems to be just one large mass in each breast. I wanted a mammogram but was told I was too young. This stuff just keeps growing bigger that I couldn't tell the difference between an abnormal lump or a normal one. Should I be worried or wait until I'm 40 to decide if it could be pre-cancer or not? Thanks in advance. Angie
