Trying to help a friend

I am really confused on what to do, and i am really desperate for answers......I am a guy who is trying to help a female friend throught a serious problem. It was just today that i learned of her problem, and to say the least i was shocked. I guess the best way to start is to just tell you what i know!!

I have a 19 year old female friend that has only had two or three periods over the last two years. When this condition first started, she was to scared to tell anyone or to see a doctor. She finally saw a doctor several months ago and they could not find anything wrong. They told her to see a specialist about the condition, but she has not gone to the specialist yet. (i am trying to convince her into going) Anyway, she is now worried that she will not be able to have childern in the future, and i am worried about her health.

Has anyone ever heard of a condition like this? If so, what was the outcome?

Any advise would mean the world to me!!! It's hard for me to talk about this because i don't really know much about female problems. I will do anything to help her!!! Just point me in the right direction!!!!!!

Thanks Mike
