Every month, during my period, for the last several YEARS, I have awful aches down the front of my thighs - the right moreso than the left. The ache lasts for about 2 days and is constant. It is very uncomfortable and it seems to throb at times. It seems to be getting worse and worse each month, which is what prompted me to write. I am in my early thirties and have no other health problems and I take no medication. Oh wait - I do have cystic acne and take tetracycline for that. I once mentioned these aches to my GP and she sort of dismissed it by saying she woudn't be surprised by anything that happens during that time of the month - and that was that! 1. What are some possible causes for these aches? 2. Should I see a gyn - no, I haven't yet - or is this common? Thank you so much for your time and insight. I appreciate your help.
