Hi Elizabeth: Thank you for the great post. It seems that people are taking some advice the wrong way - this forum does not stop anyone from asking questions - it just asks that the questions should be asked in a polite and proper manner, and that information be passed along in the same way. You are right to say that ill health will bring frustration to a person and perhaps result in their being a little less than subtle in their questioning. Hopefully we will all just remember this one point that you have made - that you "attract more bees with honey". People sometimes have real issues - I personally would like to hear them; but not if they are presented in a hostile manner. It turns me off and is upsetting. I also don't personally enjoy when everything is "sugar coated" - ill health does not have a sugar coating. I think, too, that people need to be informed of all the pros and cons of procedures, so that they can question their physicians in a proper manner. Surely, however, this info can be presented in an educational manner without flaming the whole medical profession. Let's all get back to the business of informing and information seeking that this forum is so great for. And please - lets stop the SHOUTING! :-)

Thanks all - Jean
