There is not specific number of C/S that is "too many", though there is some increase in risk as that number begins to rise. I have performed a 7th C/S myself, and that went very well. I have also done 2nd C/S that were a disaster due to severe adhesions and/or uterine rupture. Collect the records of your previous sections for your current OB (if different), and ask for his/her honest opinion. Other than uterine rupture, the scariest complication would be if the placenta were to become involved with the uterine scar in an abnormal manner, but there is no way to predict this complication prior to pregnancy, nor is it any more likely with a 4th as opposed to a 3rd section (though if you have enough, probabilities have a way of catching up with you!). All in all, there is every likelihood that you would do just fine with another pregancy. Good Luck!
