6 days of positive LH surges?????From: Gail (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 3 Jan 1999 10:23:17 -0600 (CST)
I have been using OPK tests for about 6 months. I always start testing on the 12th day with getting a light line , then they get darker and darker for a positive result, then again go back to lighter. I then have my IUI's for the month. This month I had a extra box of tests and thought I would see what they would show. They showed a very dark positive on 11 days past ovualtion and still got darker for the next five days. I did take a HPT( on 16 days past ovulation) and it showed negative. The instuctions for these test say that you may get a misleading result if you are on medications( I am not) , if you are actually pregnant. How could these tests show positive if you were pregnant and a hpt shows a negative. Any comments????
