heavy bleeding for no reason/fibroids? Reply: James Connerth MD: "Re: heavy bleeding for no reason/fibroids?" I always have regular periods, though they are always heavy, with heavy cramping. My last period ended two weeks ago, and it was heavier than usual. Eight days later, I began to bleed heavily again. I've been bleeding for five days again now, and it's even heavier than a normal period, with very small clots. I searched the archives, and did a lot of reading, but none of them sounded exactly like this. I'm 37, never been pregnant, I've had no surgical procedures, and am not on birth control other than using a diaphram. I'm in very slight pain at times, but not much. I have a appointment with my Dr. next week, but I'm getting concerned, I was hoping this would stop. Someone suggested to me it may be fibroids?..are these symptoms of that?
