I've NEVER experienced gum or tooth problems and I see a dentist every 6 months. My dentist and dental hygienist told me that women who are pregnant OR who have had hysterectomies usually experience gum problems. This has something to do with the hormonal changes our bodies go through.... even though I've retained my ovaries.. my body still went through a shock. Things started getting better for me after 7 months and now have NO problem at all--YAY! Nothing worse than gum problems--yuck. See a dentist and stay away from salsa until this heals up for you. Good Luck, Trish
