Thank you Lauren for your reply -- yes, I have heard Zithromax is one of the new generation wonder drugs - I think maybe I should have my doctor prescribe that one next-- My body seems not to be responding to the usual antibiotics. You gave me some peace of mind knowing I am not alone with this rib pain. Thanks. Connie
