2nd posting on adenomatous hyperplasia, please advise!From: Teresa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 16 Nov 1998 23:15:32 -0600 (CST)
I am concerned about a recent diagnosis of adenomatous hyperplasia. I have been doing internet searches for information but have not been too successful. I'm not exactly sure what it means or what the implications are. I have a very long history of gyn problems including : DES daughter, infertility with multiple IVF failures, and squamous cell carcinoma in-situ of the cervix (treated with cold knife cone). My doctor told me that if left untreated, the hyperplasia could become cancerous. She wants to treat me with provera for 3 mo. Any info. or advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
