The significance of an A+ blood group is related to a woman's risk of developing clots in her legs on the pill. Although your sister's risk is about 1.5 times higher than if she wasn't on the pill it is still 6 times lower than if she got pregnant. Headaches on the pill can be potentially serious. Focal migraine is a contraindication to the pill. Your sister needs to she her doctor and discuss this with him/her.
