Previous message: Yvett: "interferon question" To whom it may concern, I have been diagnosed with endo. and am about to be put on the luprone shot. I recently moved away to college and am very scared of the side effects. I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer these questions for me. I have a very irregular period and I have to drive 5 1/2 hours to get to my doctor. I have already made one trip and they wouldn't let me take the shot because I wasn't bleeding. I am very frustrated and nervous and am about to make my second trip to the doctor. They won't explain why I have to be on my period to recieve the shot, and I would greatly appreciate it if someone would explain it to me. Thank you for your time.
