Christy -- What you're describing sounds exactly like my periods when I had ovarian cysts. You may want to discuss that possibility with your nurse practitioner. A vaginal ultrasound can tell if there is anything unusual on your ovaries that may be causing such pain. Good luck to you. I hope you find some answers quickly.
