Pregnancy Concerns....(questions)

During my last pregnancy, I was constipated and not as regular as I should have been. My doctor prescribed iron pills also, which further agrivated the condition. When I finally went into labor, I was unable to get an enima because of the time limit for my epidural. My stay in the hospital was great - but I never did have a bowel movement before I left and had an episiotomy from my rectum to my vagina - and stitches. About two days after returning home from the hospital, I was so miserable and needed so badly to go to the bathroom that I thought I was going to be sick from it. I sat in a hot bath most of the day trying home enima remedies, only fiberous foods, you name it. The stool softeners that the hospital prescribed were unefective and the pain medicine during birth made matters worse (pain medicine always makes me constipated). I ended up having to use a water powered shower head enima/douche (on nearly full speed) to empty myself - or I would have been seriously ill, I suspect. This hurt more than giving birth, I am sure you can imagine. I was blessed to not have damaged the stitches in the process.

I am pregnant again with my second child. I had been fairly regular for the first half of the pregnancy. In the last week, however... I have had diharea - which has lasted for a week so far. I am worried that there may be something wrong inside since I have never had this problem before and it seems like EVERY bowel movement is like this. I am not eating any differently, and not taking any medication other than my prenatle vitamin and occassionally a decongestant that my obgyn said was safe. I am worried that it could mean that the baby is sick or I am infected with toxoplasmosis or something.

Please let me know if this is something I need to be worried about - or need to get medical attention for. And what the symptoms of toxoplasmosis are...
