It depends what you call migraine. As far as the BCP goes a headache that is focal, i.e. in a specific area associated with nausea would be a contraindication for someone who gets them with the BCP. Depot is not and is not thought to be associated with migraine. It is possible that depot is associated with a headache but it is more likely that this is due to another cause. The only way to tell is to switch to a non-hormonal method for a period and see what happens.
