I had an abruption ( perinatologist estimated it was just slight 50% of the placenta Via u/s) early on in pg that occured at 12 weeks. It has since resolved itself and baby doing well. At 18 weeks all the fetal measurements are right on date and there is no evidence of any further bleeding or separation since beginning of week 14. What I was wondering, am I at risk of having another abruption later in the pg when I am closer to term? I am concerned since it happened once that I have a good chance it will do it again later. How likely is it that a woman can have 2 abruptions in one pg? Also can I still have a vaginal birth since I had that abruption or is it too risky that the placenta will abrupt during delivery?
