I can't help with adenomyosis, but do have some info on endo. Unfortunately, it all works best if the endo is in the early stages. I do not have the medical studies to back this up. Most of the info I am giving you comes from the book "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" by James F. Balch, M.D. and Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C. I'm not going to give you recommended dosages, but would encourage you to investigate further on your own.

It is very important that you are getting enough Vitamin E, and Vitamin K, more than you may be able to get from your regular diet. Evening Primrose Oil, extra B Complex vitamins, Vitamin C, Zinc, Calcium and magnesium (chelate forms), Kelp, AND a multivitamin/mineral complex are also important.

As far as herbs go, alfalfa is a good source of Vitamin K. Astragalus, garlic, goldenseal, myrrh gum, and red clover have antibiotic and anttumor properties that may help. Burdock root, dong quai, and red raspberry leaf are all purported to help balance hormones. And nettles are rich in iron, which may help if you are iron-deficient.

For more information and help, I would really encourage you to see an herbalist or alternative medicine doctor in your area. I would beware of anyone who is anti-Western medicine, as the 2 can really work well hand-in-hand.

And have you visited the Endo Zone here at OBGYN.net?
