Hi, Kim. I know well that it can be bothersome or embarrassing. I've already been told that I have b-strep so I know the cause for my problem. My comment to you is that there *can* be false negatives on cultures. I've had a few only to go back in and get a positive. Go back in to the doctor and ask for another culture.
