Women Against Women Who Abuse Women

"Private War", Supremacy Games?

Have you ever felt a woman has verbally mistreated you with the intent to hurt or ridicule you? Have you ever entered a room and noticed a woman or group of women staring at you in such a way that caused you to feel great discomfort? Have you ever had several women gang up and verbally and intentionally insult you for no reason?... These supremacy games are common in the world of women verses women. It's common for us to feel frustrated and feel a lack of confidence after the attack. What propels these women to confirm their superiority over other women? What breeds these women to feel good after degrading another women? Why do these women seek out ways of decimating other women's self confidence? This "private war" that exists between women displays an abusive behavior confirming that "might is right". As women we pride ourselves with the strides towards equality that we have achieved in society today. And we should feel good it has been and still is a fight to get the recognition we have deserved and longed for. However, we still carry the monkey on our backs so to say. I mean let us be honest with ourselves who's clothing would you criticize first a man's or a woman's. In order for us as women to reach the pinnacle of our existence we must first learn to accept and respect the diversity of our role in society.

I am in the process of collecting information for an art project to present to society the existence of these acts. The purpose of the art project is to bring an awareness of the abuse and hopefully through the awareness we as women can recognize and stop ourselves from acting out acts of abusive behavior. I need as many replies as possible from women who have experienced or witnessed these kind of attacks. Please send me a short descriptive story of your experience with an attack or attacks in letter form. Please leave out your name and others as your letter may be used in the art project. Thanking those in advance who respond to the cause to the Betterment and Improvement Between Women.
