Ashley Hill, M.D.: "Re: Down Syndrome and HCG" I am hoping this subject line gets more to the point of the question I asked last week and gets a drs attention! I read in a book that higher than normal levels of HCG can be an indication of Downs. When is this a concern? My level more than tripled in 36 hours at 4wks LMP. I have a history of miscarriage but did not have testing done, so I do not know if Downs could have been a factor. I am concerned about the possibilities of this and am just trying to get more information. Thanks you!!
