Another pill myth

It's now 05:20 where I am and having delivered what I hope is the last baby of the night I am going to bed so please don't expect any replies for 4 - 5 hours. The forum states it is Friday but it is Saturday for me and I do not know what CDT is. For me the baseline time zone has always been at the origin of time and at 0 degrees longitude (i.e. Greenwich Mean Time or GMT). Clearly the Americans have decided to change this. However, I have just thought of another pill myth. It is this;

MYTH: The pill increases the risk of cancer. TRUTH: There is huge argument amongst the medical profession as to whether or not there is a very small increase in the risk of breast cancer in women on the pill. Personally I believe there may be. However, even in the worst case scenario, the pill protects against all cancers as it protects against ovarian and womb cancer.
